Looking for outdoor activities a few kilometers away from Paris? Jump in your sneakers and come to Yvelines! More than 70.000 hectares of wooded areas are waiting for you. Our department stands out by the many landscapes it holds, from the valley of the Seine to the North of the department via the agricultural lands of the South and the majestic Vallée de Chevreuse. Beginner or experienced, each and every one can come and have fun. Wherever you are, a palace, a historical monument or a classified site can be found nearby.
A natural heritage to protect
If the departmental board of Yvelines decided to partner with the EcoTrail, it is because we share the same values: respect of nature and protection of the environment. We only have one mission: showcase the natural assets of our territory to the public in order to raise awareness about protecting it with simple actions.
Whether you take part in the 80km Trail starting at the Île de loisirs de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines or in the 45km Trail starting at the Palace of Versailles, you will discover our department in all its glory. We bet you will come back to see more!
